DJ Tuāfale is a certified Aotearoa legend. From her base in Tāmaki Makaurau, the Sāmoan polymath has been sharing community stories since the early 80s through her chosen media of photography, video, and deejaying. Whether embedded in small communities or holding it down in the club, DJ Tuāfale’s kaupapa is one of koha – reciprocal offerings made with and gifted back to the communities she finds herself in.
