Ruby Savage was raised in a musical household on a mantra of “freedom, healing, peace and power in music”. Since moving from her hometown Amsterdam to London in 2007, she has worked behind the counter at Honest Jon’s Records and managed both Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings and Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature (setting up crucial imprint Wildheart Recordings in the process). Whether solo or alongside peers like Jayda G, Ruby Savage’s  performances emphasise harmony and good vibrations, with a pinch of spice to fire things up.
